Meet the People

Ms. Wood has been in the legal technology and innovation space for over a decade.

In 2013, she founded Global Discovery Direct, which offered a remote model for foreign language document review and translation services, and in 2016, she joined a litigation consulting company in a business development role. Ms. Wood navigated the global pandemic by researching and introducing legal tech to her clients, training thousands of attorneys around the globe on new ways to practice law virtually. In 2022, Ms. Wood joined LexFusion with the dream of deepening her proficiency in the industry’s leading tech, and consulting her clients on how to leverage this legal tech to their advantage.

Ms. Wood is the Creator and Co-Founder of two thought leadership and networking organizations: The Ad Idem Corporate Counsel Network (2021), a network of over 1,000 corporate counsel located worldwide, and The Washington Area Women Trial Attorneys (2019), a DC-based network that is committed to advancing accomplished trial attorney women in the profession.

Ms. Wood is a graduate of American University Washington College of Law (J.D., 2009) and the University of Virginia (B.A., 2004).
